When you start using Sketch, you have to work from an infinite canvas. You can right-click on the toolbar and click on your favorites. The drawing box in the diagram represents a drawing or a combination of drawings. When creating an artboard, you can choose from a list of common screen sizes for Android, iOS, web, and print, or customize them yourself. There is also an Artboard Manager plugin for OC-level organization - boards can be divided into rows and columns to keep them organized. Thumbnail pages represent another image or platform. If you create an artboard for iOS, you can turn everything into one page and create another page for your Android design. A sketch file can contain multiple panels and pages. It allows you to organize workflows for easy reference.

As with most screen design tools, clicking on a layer opens an inspector on the left where you can change its properties. Start with the UI design. Sketch comes earlier in iOS, Material Design and Web Templates. Many of the benefits of Sketch are similar to those of Photoshop. For example, it does what Photoshop does, but is cheaper and takes up less disk space. Some believe that Sketch will eventually eclipse Photoshop as the primary prototyping tool. Sketch has two main competitors: Adobe XD and InVision Studio. Adobe XD is another vector-based tool used for wiring and modeling.
